Respected attorney and former candidate for New York State Attorney General John Sarcone today announced that he is running for New York State Supreme Court Justice in the Ninth Judicial District covering Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Dutchess counties.

“I deeply appreciate the tremendous outpouring of support that I have received encouraging me to run for State Supreme Court,” said John Sarcone. “After more than two decades practicing law in state and federal court, it would be the honor of a lifetime to serve the lower Hudson Valley on the State Supreme Court. I believe in hard work, dedication and perseverance and, as a Supreme Court Justice, I will bring those qualities to the courthouse every day to ensure people are treated fairly.”

Sarcone also led the COVID-19 Regional Rapid Response in NYC to mobilize necessary resources to supply hospitals with PPE and coordinating the safe operation of federal and US court buildings. As an attorney in private practice, Sarcone won a 10-figure settlement from ExxonMobil/Sunoco for groundwater contamination in the Town of Highlands, NY and secured funding and helped oversee the construction of the Town’s first municipal water supply.
